For more than forty years, Bethany Ludwick has been at the center of St Barth villa rentals, helping travelers discover the island’s most exceptional private homes and authentic experiences. She began her career with the pioneers of the industry Wimco and Sibarth building lasting relationships and gaining an unmatched knowledge of the island’s villas, people, and culture.
Today, Bethany leads the villa rental division of Propco St. Barth, in partnership with longtime friends Valerie Calderon and Vali Portet. Together, they’ve built a full-service company offering luxury villa rentals, real estate sales, and villa management. Their combined experience spans decades of hospitality, property care, and client service. As St Barth residents for over 35 years, Valerie and Vali have witnessed the island’s evolution from a hidden Caribbean retreat into one of the world’s most sought-after luxury destinations.

When she’s not on the island, Bethany travels aboard the Villa Bethany, their 58-foot Hatteras yacht, with her husband Jon, their Bernedoodle Schatzi, and cats Marbles and Phoebe, sailing between Boothbay Harbor, Maine, and Hilton Head, South Carolina. Whether at sea or on shore, she lives the lifestyle she shares with her guests, one defined by connection, care, and an enduring love for island life.
